Opened in February 2009, this purpose built hostel enjoys a central village location.

Ideal for families, groups or the independent traveller.

All rooms are ensuite and we offer a variety of accommodation options including family rooms throughout the bunkhouse.

Bedding is provided. Large open plan kitchen /dining /lounge area with wood burning stove.

Under floor heating throughout.

The hostel has been built adhering to environmentally sound principles including the installation of a ground source heat pump.

Ballater is an ideal location for exploring the Cairngorms National Park, Royal Deeside and rural Aberdeenshire.
